Creative Arts Therapists like Drama Therapists use their own understanding of artistic ways and properties to support you on a therapeutic journey and are fully trained as mental health professionals.

Drama Therapy is a Trauma Informed and Social Justice oriented Creative Arts Therapy offering. One of the core functions of drama therapy is in exploring the mind-body connection to aid in the process of cathartic relief. This may help individuals to process negative or confusing experiences.

You might try Drama Therapy to explore your inner experiences or you may have a specific social, interpersonal, or mental health goal in mind to to work through.

Drama Therapy can be used with individuals who are experiencing a range of issues in their lives. Intergenerational trauma, intersectionality, structural discrimination, neurodiversity and other complex situations which can accompany common life situations like relationship troubles, grief, parenting/ caregiving, school issues, identity issues, traumatic experiences, disease, disability and other life transitions. It is a unique therapeutic modality through which to explore your emotions and work towards processing difficult moments in your life. It can help one to build on self-understanding and gain new perspectives.

In my training and private practice, I have experience working with older adults, BIPOC clients, Queer folx, Neurodivergent individuals, those with intellectual or other dis/abilities, children, and teens.

At the moment I am focused on working with adults, book here.
